Terra Cotta Warrior
The Terra-Cotta Warriors Museum stands as China's most expansive ancient military exhibition. In 1961, the State Council of the People's Republic of China recognized Emperor Qin Shi Huang's legacy by designating it a national cultural relic protection site. This monumental decision marked the commencement of a comprehensive archaeological investigation into Emperor Qin Shi Huang's burial grounds. By 1962, the skilled archaeologists meticulously mapped out the cemetery's intricate layout, revealing a sprawling expanse covering 56.25 square kilometers—an area nearly equivalent to 78 palaces. This discovery sent shockwaves throughout the world of archaeology.
